Just ordered those waterproof socks off your link! Thanks for providing us with field proven gear that works!

  2. Chris on December 30, 2020 at 7:30 pm

You don’t get worried about using waders while yaking?

  3. TC Canady on December 30, 2020 at 7:32 pm

This is a very good video especially for folks who are thinking about fishing year round in some colder and wetter weather.

I too am Colombia fan for a few reasons. Their clothing is just very good and their outlet is not too far away from me making it affordable to purchase.

The silver lining inside your jacket and pants is called Omniheat. It keeps you warm and it’s breathable.

Thanks for posting the waterproof socks. As you know the Pacific in SoCal is pretty cold in the winter and my feet always wet when I launch. I’m definitely going to have a good look at them.

Hope you make it back out to SD bay or Oceanside sometime. It would be nice to fish with you.🙂

Good video did not realize how expensive this stuff is. Kayaking around with $500 plus in gear and the dry suit makes my heart hurt but you take what you do seriously and I can respect that. What’s the coldest you will usually go out in?

  6. Kccacio on December 30, 2020 at 7:37 pm

Great information Mark, I needed this video for my long standing wade fishing comforts. Especially if it is cold and raining during Winter times. Those who thumb down, dont understand why they would disagree to oppose of this video! Mark is simply giving us great resources, as an option, to those who are wanting learn and self improve. He is simply collaborating with his fans what’s our there in there market. Not forcing you. Thank you Mark!!!

  12. Brad Hatch on December 30, 2020 at 7:45 pm

Perfect!! I just got a pair of the Simms Flyweight’s and waders for Christmas. I’m a 10.5 and originally got size 11, too small so I got 12’s. But they were still too snug with wool socks but were good with regular athletic socks. How many sizes did you go up?

That closet is living proof that you can leave the Marine Corps but the Marine Corps will never leave the individual. I bet he even loaded everything in there from left to right.

  14. Fabian Mesa on December 30, 2020 at 7:49 pm

During the summer I can’t wait to use it as well take it to Quintana jetty , I got spoons all kind stuff reels etc …👌👌🐟🦈

Nice gear Mark. I was looking into getting more cold weather gear. You should also maybe do a vid with less expensive gear and review it for new kayakers. Keep it up!
