I’ve been wanting to do a video about this for a couple of years now but I can’t find a place close with mats and the grass mats in North Carolina are too thick to punch. It will happen, but I don’t know when.

I thought on spinning reels, if you are right handed you want your reel handle on the left. That’s the way I’ve been doing it anyway.

  23. ram-ROC G on October 19, 2020 at 4:25 pm

Love what you’re doing, thanks so much!! Might be a stupid question but do you have a video oh how the drag works? I feel that’s the basics of fishing that I’m missing, very new thanks again for all your help!!

In a similar fashion, I have a right handed friend who buys left handed bait casting reels. It makes no sense that a spinning reel handle is on one side, and the bait casting is on the other.

  25. Flukemaster on October 19, 2020 at 4:28 pm

Most right handers do. But I’ve found that some want it on the right. It’s all a matter of personal preference.

I want to buy a reliable spinning rod and complementing reel, for a novice level angler. Do you have any recommendations?

  29. Ethan Johnson on October 19, 2020 at 4:32 pm

I just got a spinner rod, and am about to go fishing for the first time. I had no idea how to use this, and now that I’ve watched your videos, I feel confident that I will get some bites
